Module 2 - Triad Yoga 300 Hr Teacher Certificiation Program
The fourth workshop class of Module 2 is titled "The Mechanics of the Low Back, Pelvis and Thighs in Backbends".  The ability to perform a safe and effective backbend depends on several factors.  The body needs to be strong in the back and hip extensor muscles.  The hip flexors along with the chest, abdomen and front thighs must be open.  This class will take us through a sequence that addresses the areas that we to focus on to help ourselves and our students be comfortable in backbends and maintain an easy, steady breath during practice.
