A visual guide to the science of connective tissue, and why it matters.  Featuring up to date insights from the most recent Fascia Congress.

Saturday, 10:00AM - 1:00PM - Bones, Joints and Fascia

Get a feel for where specific attachments are located.  Feel and see the articulation of joints from toes to hip with various movement.  Explore visual assessment tools.

Saturday, 2:30PM - 5:30PM - The Pelvis

See the muscles that attach to the pelvis and how they control its movement.  Explore postural patterns and movement habits related to the hips.  Learn how to assess the hips.

Sunday, 10:00AM - 1:00PM - The Thigh

See in 3-D how the muscles of the thigh layer and interact with each other.  Learn how to assess and address different knee patterns.  Gain a deeper understanding of the thigh's role in body wide postural patterns.

Sunday, 2:30PM - 5:30PM - Lower Leg (and Foot)

See how the muscles of the lower leg support the foot.  Observe and feel different and gait patterns and how they affect the entire body.

Classes include interactive lectures and gentle movement practices.  All levels welcome.

Liz Salter has been a Massage Therapist since 2009 and has been teaching Yoga since 2013.  She just recently became a Board Certified Structural Integrator, through Anatomy Trains.   She loves bringing her ever growing knowledge of anatomy and how the body moves, together with the practices of Yoga to create an experienced based, hands on learning experience.
