Continuous Studies
This class is for teachers and students of yoga that wish to deepen their practices and studies of yoga in new areas for personal growth and transformation. Topics are posted on the "Announcements" page.

Deep Stretch and Restore
Students will be introduced to the power of releasing tighten muscles due to stress, strain, and injury. Using breath, myofascial release techniques, and sustained stretching this class addresses issues relating not only to overused muscles but underworked whole body care, including tension headaches, insomnia, and emotional balance. The physical practice will be complimented with a portion of each class devoted to restorative yoga.

Gentle Yoga
This class is appropriate for students who are very stiff, not very strong, or just want to enjoy yoga accessible to everyone. It is ideal for students working with injuries, limited range of motion, and physical challenges.

Healthy Back and Spine 1
This class is for the person whose back problems need to be addressed in a specific class for back care. Appropriate for students with tension or pain in the upper back, neck and shoulders, and low back. This class is a pre-requisite for Healthy Back and Spine II.

Iyengar Yoga Level 2
This Iyengar Yoga class focuses on sequencing and systematic instruction to take students deeper into their understanding of yoga asanas. As appropriate to their level and physical ability students will practice standing poses, inversions, twists and back bending.

Level 1
This class is for anyone wishing to experience the many benefits of Yoga, regardless of age or physical challenges. No experience is necessary to begin this class. Introduction to fundamental yoga postures, alignment principles, and breathing to increase strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and relaxation. New students may join at any time.

Level 2
This class is for those who have taken the Level 1 classes for at least three months (or equivalent experience in alignment-based yoga). Be sure to let your teacher know if you have any physical issues so appropriate adjustments can be made.

Level 3
This class is for those who have taken Level 2 classes for at least six months. More advanced asanas are introduced, asanas may be held longer, and deeper aspects of yoga are introduced.

Mindful Movement
This one hour class is designed for the student that desires a shorter, but invigorating class. From warm-ups to vinyasa building sequences, students will practice with movement and breath awareness. It is suggested that students have at least three months of Level 1 practice.

Power Flow
Power Flow is an energizing and fun class that links the breath with flowing movement called vinyasa. Students should take three months of Level 1

Senior Yoga
This class is focused toward gentle, safe and fun techniques designed to meet the individual needs and abilities of students over 55.

Special 6 Week Program Class
Every 6 weeks Triad Yoga presents a special topic to enhance your area of interest and practice. No registration is required, just use your class pass. Please visit our home page for current and future class information.

Yoga Basics
New students to yoga may find themselves more comfortable in a class that starts in a place that has a "beginning". Here is that class!

Here is what the new student to yoga will learn: -All the basic foundation yoga poses for beginner students. -How the pose should be aligned well with the body for the maximal benefit. -How to adapt a yoga pose to meet the need of your individual body. -How to practice the poses safely. -How to use all the yoga props. -How to breath properly in the poses. Students may join at any time.

Yoga Stretch
This class is for students who wish to use the yoga practices to specifically improve their flexibility. This class is an excellent additional class for beginners.

Yoga Therapeutics and Exercise
This class addresses the specific therapeutic needs of the individual, regardless of physical limitations. This class is not available for drop-ins. Please contact the studio to inquire if this class is appropriate for you. The class size is limited.

Yoga, Meditation and Restoratives
This class combines restoratives, pranayama and meditation. Long-held restoratives allow the muscles to relax, heart rate to lower, and the nervous system to let go. Pranayama practices reduce fluctuations of the mind and helps reduce fatigue. Meditation techniques can improve sleep and mental focus as well as ease anxiety, stress, depression and pain. Also included in this class are inspirational talks and yoga nidra practices.
