The Mother Sequence was developed by Aadil Palkhivala's brother Jehangir. The purpose of the sequence is to bring the whole of one's being into the asana practice and to leave one with a deep sense of peace and joy. The Prasarita Sequence is an off-spring of the Mother Sequence. There are seven different sequences, each with its own unique energy and gifts to share. We will learn the sequence in the first session and emphasize how to practice it the second session.
In the Asana Workshops with Yoga Wall assist, we will be working with the Yoga Wall. More than a "how to use the Yoga Wall" workshop, experience and learn how to integrate the Yoga Wall within an asana class setting. The workshop classes address three areas: hip opening practices, backbends, and forward bends and twists.
