Beginner Basics
The Beginner Basics class is a repeating 4 week course that teaches new students the foundations of basic yoga postures so they will be more confident moving into a Level 1 class with other ongoing students.return to top of page
Continuous Studies
This class is for teachers and students of yoga that wish to deepen their practices and studies of yoga in new areas for personal growth and transformation. Topics are posted on the "Announcements" page.return to top of page
Gentle Yoga
This class is appropriate for students who are very stiff, not very strong, or just want to enjoy yoga accessible to everyone. It is ideal for students working with injuries, limited range of motion, and physical challenges.return to top of page
Healthy Back and Spine
This class is for the person whose back problems need to be addressed in a specific class for back and spine health. Appropriate for students with tension or pain in the upper back, neck and shoulders, and low back.return to top of page
Kids Yoga - Ages 3-5
Kids Yoga is for Kid's, ages 3-5, and will combine yoga postures with games, stories, music, art and more! Research has proven that yoga makes for calmer, happier, healthier little ones, and is especially great for those children who have been diagnosed as "attention deficit".return to top of page
Kids Yoga - Ages 6-12
Kids Yoga is for Kid's, ages 6 - 12, and will combine yoga postures with games, stories, music, art and more! Level 1
This class is for anyone wishing to experience the many benefits of Yoga, regardless of age or physical challenges. No experience is necessary to begin this class. Introduction to fundamental yoga postures, alignment principles, and breathing to increase strength, flexibility, endurance, balance and relaxation. New students may join at any time.return to top of page
Level 2
This class is for those who have taken the Level 1 classes for at least three months (or equivalent experience in alignment-based yoga). Be sure to let your teacher know if you have any physical issues so appropriate adjustments can be made.return to top of page
Level 3
This class is for those who have taken Level 2 classes for at least six months. More advanced asanas are introduced, asanas may be held longer, and deeper aspects of yoga are introduced.return to top of page
Parent/Child
A wonderful oppportunity to share the gift of yoga between a parent and a child. Ages 3 and up are welcome.return to top of page
Power Flow
Power Flow is an energizing and fun class that links the breath with flowing movement called vinyasa. Students should take three months of Level 1return to top of page
Power Yoga
Students should take Level 1 for three months. This Asntanga-style class is designed to increase strength, flexibility, and stamina while generating heat in the body and developing meditative awareness.return to top of page
Purna Yoga Meditation
In this class we will teach and encourage the practices of Purna Yoga Meditation, which encourage you to connect with your spirit in your heart center through guided imagery. These easy, yet powerful meditation techniques can be practiced into your day-to-day life.return to top of page
Senior Yoga
This class is focused toward gentle, safe and fun techniques designed to meet the individual needs and abilities of students over 55.return to top of page
Yoga Express Flow
This one hour class is designed for the student that desires a shorter, but invigorating class. Students should take three months of Level 1.return to top of page
Yoga for Strength and Toning
Join this vinyasa style class to challege your body and mind! We will use movement and bring in some special tools to heat your body and burn extra calories. We will hold poses longer to bring strength to your muscles and add confidence to your practice. This class is appropriate for Level 2 and above.return to top of page
Yoga Stretch
This class is for students who wish to use the yoga practices to specifically improve their flexibility. This class is an excellent additional class for beginners.return to top of page
Yoga Therapeutics and Exercise
