Essential Teaching Tools for Professional Yoga Teachers
This important workshop for Yoga Teachers will be held on Saturday, February 18th, 12:00PM - 4:00PM.
Now entering his 28th year of study, and his 20th year of teaching, Terry believes that yoga teachers should be open to discovering more and more about the poses and practices they teach and continue to develop effective skills that are vital to their success. They should not only be able to teach group classes, but should be able to recognize and respond to individual needs.
Learning how to encourage students to practice safely and effectively is a skill that a good yoga teacher must have. In this workshop, Terry will help teachers to look at some of the overlooked challenges within basic yoga poses, and how to help students modify and adjust. Also, Terry will share insight on poses that could be inappropriate for our posture challenged generation unless modifications are made. As teachers, it is our duty to our students to search how to help them create a practice that is transformative.
These and other finer points of teaching can help teachers understand how to teach in ways that help students experience positive results in their practice!
Workshop cost $45.00, or $40.00 if paid by February 11th. Additional workshop information and registration are available under Workshops.
